Even though you're minutes away from Australia's finest camping, hiking, boating and other natural attractions, there's no need to sacrifice certain essentials. These might include a luxurious champagne jacuzzi bubble bath while catching the evening news, just before slipping into your sumptuous queen-sized bed - heated of course. When morning arrives, so will your breakfast - unless you prefer to take it with company in our cozy country dining room by the fireplace and tele. In warm weather you may opt to sun by the pool until its time to ramble off for a day of sightseeing, trailblazing, antiquing, wine tasting or dozens of other adventures. Few places in the world offer so many choices.

Standard Accommodation  

We designed and built the Pioneer with one purpose in mind: your comfort. To this end the roomy layouts were finished with panelled wainscotting, wall to wall carpeting, heavy drapes and tasteful decor. We brought in sturdy, comfortable furniture and the biggest beds we could fit through the door. We added special touches throughout, like designer sinks and tubs with gleaming brass fixtures, all glass shower stalls and up-market appliances. Smart ideas like pivoting TV-VCRs, and custom-built dressing units with deep drawers and heavy mirrors make you feel positively pampered. (At least we hope so.) And since you shouldn't have to take our word on all this, we asked the AAA to visit us every few months and confirm our 4 Star rating. This means you can always return to the same Pioneer comfort and convenience, cleanliness and safety!   PHOTOS   TOP

Master Suite

If you're feeling lavish, or perhaps need a bit more room, try our Master Suite. You'll sleep soundly in your quiet, separate bedroom while the kids or friends watch the VCR in the den. Dining

Guests are invited to take their breakfasts in our quaint and cozy dining room with fireplace and full bar (including coffee bar). It can be retained in advance to accommodate certain special occasions such as birthdays, reunions, receptions and other intimate gatherings. Enquire at reception for details. Although not serving the public at present; the Pioneer's fully equipped modern kitchen and staff can be utilized to serve special functions.   PHOTOS  TOP

Pool

Relax with a refreshing dip in our clean, temperature-controlled pool. Hang out in the deep end while your kids play in safe, shallow waters. It's fully equipped with showers and dressing rooms and there's plenty of room for socializing or just working on your tan.   PHOTOS  TOP
